STORY TIME! HERE'S MY FILMMAKING AND PHOTOGRAPHY JOURNEY.

Hi My name is darrylle sanchez, but you can call me ryle!

I was born in the Philippines in 1997 then we moved to Canada in 2009 when I was 12 years old.

I've always love to shoot videos since i was young and wanted to be a film director because I grew up with my uncles who were also film directors

back home. They used to bring me at their production days where I got to watch them how they create Indie films, Music videos and etc.

In my first year here in Canada, I bought my first camera the ''Sony Cyber-shot'' which i still have to this day displayed in my home studio.

I wasn't into Photography back then but I filmed a lot of random videos with that camera until I got my first smart phone and that's when I started

to take so much photos and document my own life. Since i didn't have a modern digital camera, I learned to edit videos way earlier before I even got

the chance to learn proper camera settings. I really enjoyed documenting my early 20s and tried to take YouTube serious that made me start working

on my episodes called ''RYLESTORIES'' and It has taught me so much about Storytelling, Filming & Editing then i realized i needed to invest on my gear

to have better quality so I bought my first digital camera and It was the Sony A6400 but the COVID-19 started.

During the pandemic, I self-taught myself by making lots of mistake shooting photos and videos as much possible until i learned the basics, Some of my works caught a lot attention when i posted them on Facebook and on Instagram. Even though i didn't have a professional full frame camera yet back then, I started getting inquiries for portraits & small events without promoting a business which led me to shoot my first wedding alone and it has encouraged me to register RYLESTUDIOS and take classes for Business Administration to pursue this career. It took some time for me to afford my beloved Sony A7IV but since I've been driven with passion while being patient to learn more and more about the arts of filmmaking and photography using my first digital camera as I freelanced for different wedding shooter companies for 2 years, It has helped me gain a lot of experience to create bigger projects and start to document weddings again for beautiful people.
